created to create.... WEEK TWO

another fabulous week in the books, y'all! this illustrated faith created to create 2 devotional kit is off the charts good -- and it is constantly speaking to my little crafty heart! God knew exactly the words i would need to hear from shanna's heart.... and i think you are probably feeling exactly the same way ;)

last week i shared a look into week one of my devotional booklet that i crafted for this devotional series & today i'm back with a peek into week two!

[ps.... if you want to find the original DIY post for my booklet, click here!]

our focal verse for week two was isaiah 64:8....
and yet, oh Lord, you are our Father.  we are the clay & You are the Potter.  we all are formed by Your hand
#love #needed #perfect

shanna's words through the week's devotion really gave me a clear visual of the verse in isaiah.  surrendering my art worship is something that i had never thought of, but boy-oh-boy I NEED TO DO IT!

on the flip side of my "how has God made you most creative" journaling card, i washed some watercolors down before i journaled a little prayer from my heart.  i also added the created paper piece from the kit [outlined with a black pen] & some paintbrush paper pieces tucked back behind.

the heart shaped pieces from the devo kit are some of my favorite items to create with!! they make the perfect little tip-in for bible margins & have a solid colored back side for journaling.  i threaded this heart through my typewriter to add a little prayer.  i mean really, you can never have enough prayer tucked into a booklet, am i right?!

this scripture card designed + sold by my sweet friend kate from the adopt shoppe is so perfectly themed to fit with this devotional series! it was a blessing to open up in week two & see this verse coming at me!

my final little tidbit in week two is this tip-in from the faith>fear collection by illustrated faith.  i used the numbered hexies from the kit's clear sticker sheet & some outlined wordfetti for the list sentiments.

week two was such a blessing & i'm very much looking forward to week THREE!  have you all been diving in to the created to create kit along with us? it's never too late to start -- the devotionals are undated which means you can start/stop/start again anytime, friend!
